After a quiet few days I went to Wimpole Hall this morning. Obviously I got there for first opening at 9:30.
The cafe opens at 10 so I had a coffee and a scone (I wanted to pick up lunch but no sandwiches on sale yet). The scone was excellent. Wimpole have really improved this year.
The walled garden was looking fabulous
I keep hoping for a large tortoiseshell but alas ... LOL
There was a linnet that was nice to see.
Think these chaps were trying to get in :)
Alas when I went to get lunch there was a long queue and I decided to avoid it and go home. I'll have to start bringing my food flask out again.
