Finchingfield

I am a bad blogger! Then again I haven't done much !! I did pop out Wednesday and on the way back popped into Finchingfield.

At one point there were two pubs on opposite sides of the road.

The tombs have seen better days lol

Looking at the memorials this fellow had an interesting life.

This relation alas died at 21 in Normandy

Charles II

I didn't eat there today but did get a coffee from one of the tearooms.

Guernsey Day 6

I decided to visit some places I've never been to and to do it on foot. First stop Fermain Bay which is at the bottom of a steep hill...

Fermain Bay. The old Martello tower is now available for self catering.

RFA Proteus....

So after a nice coffee I headed to Jerbourg

The Doyle monument built to honour Sir John Doyle a former Lieutenant Governor of Guernsey.

So after another coffee I headed to the Renoir Tea Garden.

Amazing views. Food a little overpriced.

I got back to the hotel and put my feet up.

I went for another stroll.

That viewing platform has great views.

Well home tomorrow.
