A bit quiet

I went to Rye Meads this morning. Sorry no photos nothing came within camera distance.

It is that time of year when the reedbeds become the territory of Wren's!

The highlights? Kestrel, Jay, 2 Wigeon and a Pintail. The later are a sign that the seasons they are a changing.

Raindrops keep falling on my Head

I went to the Cambridge University Botanical Garden this morning. Now when I booked on Friday the forecast was meant to be good.... I woke to rain, and did it flipping stop? No it didn't not until mid-afternoon when I was home!

The car park was still half empty. Well there were maybe a few more cars. Headphones  off I walked (2 miles each way).

I started with a coffee!

I know there were a few storms recently. Blickling really copped it and it seems the botanical garden had some damage.

Holly? you know what that means! EEK

Rubbish weather but always nice to see the garden in different seasons and weathers.

Ickworth

Gosh I haven't been to Ickworth in over a month.

I would like to have said I jumped out of bed but I sort of dragged myself! It's much harder when its dark of a morning!

Ickworth was noticeably quieter now the school hols are over.

A bill dull when I arrived.

OOH Hello the house is becoming visible.

It appears in all the recent wind there has been some damage which is sad.

Chestnuts! Roasted with butter :)

Why are they all sitting? No idea !

OK OK

More damage

and again :(

You can see the crane up!

I sat by the lake and ate my soup

Typical the sun came out

You can see they are slowly dismantling the roof.

A good day
