I visited Belton House with my friends Rebecca and Stuart today.
Belton is a large country house built between 1685 and 1688 by the Brownlow family who, along with their heirs the Custs owned the property until 1984. There are plenty of memorials in the church which alas was not open.
It has a particularly fine garden and park walk (including two lakes).
Belton was cast as Rosings the home of Lady Catherine de Bourgh in the 1995 Andrew Davies of Pride & Prejudice.
Very good I might add
a good day
