Lavenham and Melford Hall

I haven't been to Lavenham this year and Melford Hall since November 2019. Melford Hall was alas closed this year. The garden is now open so I thought I'd combine the two for a day out !

First stop Lavenham ..... 

Scone time :) Good as usual.

The church was open for private prayers, candle lighting etc and I thought I wouldn't go in under the circumstances.

So to Melford Hall

Cheese Scone for a change. I did ask if they were doing the savoury cream tea.... another good one 

You will notice a small hole to the right of the left hand window. Blue Tits were going in and out!
