Hatfield Forest

And so today I went to Hatfield Forest. Although  Capability Brown provided a plan for altering the lake it wasn't followed exactly. 

First thing I did? Coffee and to watch the world which was good as I saw two yellow wagtails!! The Grebes have a nest so we can hope....

The terns are back. There were 4 at one point.

Birds seen? Yellow Wagtail, Common Tern, Blackcaps, Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting, Common Whitethroat and the usual suspects.
