Hatfield Forest

Whilst contemplating where to go this week I was listening to the National Trust Magazine and they mentioned the buttercups at Hatfield Forest so....

First step?

The birds weren't playing ball. But lots of warblers singing including Willow Warbler and a few swifts overhead

Annoyingly some numpty had there dog off a lead and it chased after the cows and 4 calves became separated by a fair bit. I watched the 4 calves and they eventually headed off and went back towards the herd. Seriously people !

This lovely lady was interested in any spills from my lunch.

Now there are signs all around the lake saying dogs on leads and please don't let them drink the water as it contains blue algae. Yeah like they paid any attention. Hey ho

Not many birds but a lovely walk :)
