The artist Anish Kapoor has an exhibition at Houghton Hall in Norfolk. So today I met up with some friends to pay it a visit.
Houghton was the home of Britain's first Prime Minister Sir Robert Walpole and a fine home it is. Fabulous house, lovely park and a superb walled garden. They have some permanent outdoor art exhibits and these have been added to by Kapoor for this season.
There is a herd of white fallow deer and normally they are in the wider park today they were by the entrance :)
This is one of the two bits of the Kapoor they are really liked.
Spot the English Eccentrics!
These mirrors were my second favourite thing. Really effective.
Only two rooms of the house was open so as we could see the installation.
Onto the fabulous walled garden.
This has been here for years, the water that catches fire.
One last deer photo.
Really good day!

It looks a great day out :) Some of the exhibits I like more than others and they are definitely effective. Would love to see some of them. Gorgeous deer and the water that catches fire is fascinating :)
