Forde Abbey was a former Cistercian monastry. Most of the monastic ruins including the church were demolished but the gardens are really worth a visit. They were looking lovely today.

Sorry for lots of comments in one go! Been hectic last few days and not been on blogger too much apart from composing a post with that perishing awful new blogger! Looks gorgeous - I think I have said before I would like to go here!
