Sunday 16th July

Went for a stroll around Dunwich. Dunwich had 14 medieval churches and chapels but all disappeared, many under the sea. The current church was built in 1830.

The current Hall is Victorian. You view the hall via guided tour. I know its damining with faint praise but its ok.... The gardens include a maze and are quite attractive. Disappointingly there is no lake just a 6ft square pond. Still I saw Common Darter and Brown Hawker dragonflies in the garden.

Went for a pleasant walk around Dunwich after dinner.

Hotel? The Ship Dunwich.

Room ok, DVD player in room but no frosted glass in bathroom. Food ordinary and service a bit disorganised. **
