Isn't the internet amazing? You are lying on your bed not only chatting to someone (using yahoo messaging) in Florida but at the same time listening to the excellent Radio Canada discussing the Mexican presidential elections.
I no longer have to content myself listening to the stations my radio can pick up, I can surf the web and listen to stations for all corners of the globe - well as long as they are in English!
One of the things that irritates me when away is how poor reception can be, now all you have to do is log on and press the button and get crystal clear reception.
Anyone care to suggest some good stations ............

I know, it's great! I love radio, and it is amazing how many stations you can find online.
I'm not sure if you would like my choices though, I listen to a lot of music. However, I do like Open Source It's only for an hour a day, but it covers all sorts of topics. There is a UK equivalent Net Talk I haven't tried it out but it might be worth a listen.
If you care for the music minus the hosts than may I suggest http://www.pandora.com or http://www.last.fm.
