Hanbury Hall is a red brick house in the Queen Anne style in the first decade of the 18th century. The gardens are a recreation of the original George London gardens of 1705.
Alas only the downstairs was open today.
The staircase was painted James Thornhill
Not that cold for mid November.

Lovely photos. I've only visited once but I liked it there. There is a good church nearby too which I would like to visit if we ever go to Hanbury again.
i like Hanbury.... I can't tell you why but I do!!
