I went to Rye Meads this morning. Bird wise it was light. There were lots of ducks (4 Wigeon), 1 Lapwing and lots of lots of Black Headed Gulls.
Ooh a Juvenile Common Gull
Showy Black Head again... why do I never see a Kingfisher on that perch?
Then I spotted 5 Common Gulls how flown in.
Otherwise it was a little quiet all though a nice flock of Long-tailed Tits
I wandered home for lunch and then went for a wander. Bird wise I did pretty well .. Great Spotted Woodpecker, Kestrel, Buzzard and Red Kite (flew right over my head!)
The light was better this afternoon.
I've no idea what leaf this is ... pretty though
a nice walk!
