Can someone explain the weather? Friday was cold and wet. Saturday t-shirt weather. Sunday cold and wet. Today? T-shirt weather!
I've know idea what Moorhen chicks are on the Newhall pond. Today i saw 5. The Canada Geese didn't produce young. There is an egg on the island but the geese have given up. There are no coots at Newhall, I need to get to the common to see how they are doing,
There are still 2 ducklings and they are growing.
This afternoon as I approached the common I thought hang on is that a foal?
Yep we have a second!! They look a like if you look at the earlier photo.

Lovely to see the new foal - it is a great idea to regularly walk in a local area and see how it changes over the year.
