Wrest Park

It was a bit damp this morning but I had tickets booked for Wrest Park so I dutifully set off. To be fair the weather forecast for Wrest was better than at home and the roads soon dried up.

 I sat and watched the world go by with my coffee.

I found a seat right by the pavilion and ate my soup.

so you are walking along and a fritillary butterfly, Silver Washed I think, decides to pose and you only have a wide angle lens..... mutters frustatedly

As I drove home i found we had a lot of rain so though it was dull and grey I had had the better weather :) a good day
