Sudley Castle and Bourton House Garden

So I wandered to Sudley Castle whose most notable former resident was Catherine, or is it Katherine? Parr. The sun was shining and so I confined myself to the garden.

The endangered species exhibition has gone to be replaced with one about Sudley through the ages. It doesn't to sit in its environments that seemed built for the previous exhibition

It was lunchtime and I headed for Bourton House Garden. As regular readers will know it is a favourite of mine. The cafe is small sandwiches and cake and they only do filter coffee which is fine with me. I sat watching the world go by before wandering around

It was looking stunning today I thought as I sat in the shade reading my book.

I got myself another coffee before heading back. Tomorrow I move on to pastures new!

Super castle and garden. The roses look lovely and I do like the hedgehog at Sudeley :)

Now I want to move near there so I could visit it often. I like everything you show us, the elephant sculptures, the roses around the bench, the buildings. Fabulous.

There are more elephants than I showed. I'll probably be back later in thr year. There is another place with elephants which I'll show next time
