Hatfield Forest

I had a wander to Hatfield Forest this morning.

Sadly no Swallows or Martins over the lake (I did see Swallows when I went for a walk at home later) and no Grebes but lots of Warblers singing. I did hear a Cetti's Warbler singing which I don't remember before.

This female Blackcap was not being co-operative

I didn't do my fall walk there as I had something to do but a nice stroll.

Lovely place to visit - Sand Martins here (Herefordshire) and Swallows arrived back yesterday :) Glad you got the car repaired. Saw LOADS of Orange Tips today.

Nice to see these images, not somewhere I've been to but have heard of it and the ancient trees. Confiding blackcap there.
