Trerice & Pencarrow

I somehow managed to be in Cornwall. Feels odd this year as my friends are now back in Essex. 

I saw more rain in my journey down than I have for weeks at home!! The weather has been ok but the odd heavy shower.

First stop Trerice. Trerice is a relatively small manor house and what you see is mostly Tudor.

Excellent scone BTW

Pencarrow is next door to my hotel. The house is closed Saturdays but the gardens are open and so I had a wander.
