Chartwell was the home of Winston Churchill. It's not a grand house but because of who it's owner was it gets a disproportionate number of visitors. The views and the garden are really lovely.
Churchill requested that there always be 'a marmalade cat named Jock, with a white bib and four white socks, in comfortable residence at Chartwell '. The current is Jock VII who joined as a six month old rescue in May 2020. He seems a bit more sociable than his predecessor. Indeed he was inspecting whether they were ready to open. Lol
If another Greylag came close these two chased them off!
