I had plans this week and a combination of not wanting to get up and the weather has sort of flummoxed to me!
Today the sun was shining but I had a delivery coming luckily it arrived early so at lunchtime so I popped to Rye Meads.
The obvious highlight was the first Green Sandpiper of the year which had been ringed!
UPDATE: the Green Sandpiper was ringed at Rye Meads in December 2017

Green sandpiper is a nice spot, but look at the colours in those teal. Breeding plumage at its finest.
