Rye Meads

Off to Rye Meads today. 

Not been for a while has the hides were closed during lockdown and you need the hides really. 

The view from the Gadwall hide first time I've seen it since pre the first lockdown.



It was all very quiet with distant gulls (including Common Gull) and Lapwings and it was nice this Grey Wagtail dropped in.

The new Kingfisher hub is open with increased seating capacity.



Nice to see so many perches alas no Kingfishers roll on breeding season.


There were winter thrushes about but camera shy. 



Some birds are nice and reliable! 







There were Heron about
