I awoke to bright sunshine so decided to go to Eastbourne to enjoy the sea air and a walk along the prom.
I then went to Charleston which was the country home of the Bloomsbury Set. The small house is full of their art. Not I might add to my taste.
However as sat in the garden I was mugged!!!! I did get a photo of the mugger.
If you see the little devil..........
The gardens were pleasant.
I then headed to Glynde.
The church is in the book but I've visited it before.
I've not visited the house, which is visited by guided tour so...

Great day for sunshine today :D I really like English coastal towns out of the main tourist season!
Like the gull with nesting material. And I'd be pleased to have your mugger - great stuff! Hope it didn't get its feet scorched from the teapot lid!
Whilst I know Eastbourne I've not been to Glynde or Charleston, so good to see them. Some great pics and sounds a lovely day.
Great shots of the "mugger." They are not so cute here, usually big old grackles or laughing gulls.
Cheeky little thing, wasn't it?
Love the pics!
P.S. I blinged you!
What a bold Robin. You've got to laugh at their cheek though. Great shots Pete.
Good selection of Eastbourne too. Looks like you had the place almost to yourself.
Love your mugger, wonderful shots. Looks like you're having a grand time.
Looks like you're having a good time and good weather, so far.

Wonderful Robin sequence, I was quite concerned when I saw the title and did laugh to find out the culprit! Sounds and looks like a great time there. Lovely photos.
