A while ago Kate asked me if I knew the name of Boxted Church in Suffolk. Well I did as I had visited it a few years ago.
Anyway I was on my way back today and I realised I was close by so just for Kate I give you Holy Trinity Boxted.
From the outside it doesn't look particularly special.
Even this internal view doesn't look that promising.
But if you pay attention to the first picture you'll notice a chapel tucked on the side.
Boxted House nestles in the bottom of the Glem Valley and has been the home of the Poley's for six centuries. The church has become almost there private chapel.

Beautiful place Pete.
Pete. I love you! I'm amazed you remembered, it's been ages since I asked you.
WOW - that was such an extraordinary post about the Church and then the inside of the Chapel -- all the little details you put in. I enjoyed all the birds in the posts above this one also as we do not have those here. You always have such an interesting bog.
