I had a wander to Rye Meads this morning. The water levels were very high and most of the islands at the Draper hide were under water! There were however 4 snipe off to one side but very distant.
This pair of Gadwall really ought to turn up on one of my local ponds! I would be so grateful ;)
There was a flock of 30 Lapwings overhead and a Red Kite flew through.
