So a nice early start. The tube was packed lots of workers at the Olympics (lots of people with accreditations).
Breakfast was at Pret.....
We wandered off towards Regents Park...
Regents Park
Lots of the Olympic mascots Wenlock and Mandeville about...
This young lady had rather long hair....
Sherlock Wenlock!!
Before the concert we stopped for a drink at Pret where Trish FORCED me to have a Pain Au Raisin ;)
The concert was the Artis Quartet of Vienna playing:
Haydn - String Quartet in F minor Op. 20 No. 5
Schubert - String Quartet in D minor D810 ‘Death and the Maiden’
The quartet is unusual in that the two violins and viola stand. The Haydn was good but the Schubert was excellent!
And it was lovely to have the sun!

Oh my, that very large cat is a sight to behold. The mascots are a riot! Love the shots.
