Diversity

An interesting article on the BBC website

Apparently birds that live in the same location with a close relative have more divergent songs and colour patterns. 

The researcher Canadian Paul Martin was intrigued to find out why species that haven't been separated for so long are so different.

If you go to the article you'll see that the closely related Blackpoll and Yellow Warblers are very different.
