Taps screen

My apologies for the lack of posts. I've not been anywhere since I returned which is scandalous and have not taken my camera out on walks!

So what's happening locally.

The 4 motherless ducklings at Coalport all fledged. Well I'm not sure about one. Of the 2 new ducklings one didn't make it but the other is now a teenager.

At New Hall I've lost count there are well over 20 and I can no longer count then as they are all teenagers with a few ducklings. There are lots of Moorhen broods and they are still coming. Although none at Coalport.

The Tufted Ducks are still about I haven't seen the female for a few days and have fingers crossed that maybe they'll breed.

There are Marbled Whites and Painted Ladies about.

The New Hall Canada Geese Goslings are growing up fast as you can see.

Good to hear the news on the ducklings. I do hope the Tufted Ducks breed. We saw a lot of Painted Ladies last week on the Isle of Wight.
