I awoke to rain... Lots of rain but it was dry when I left the pub. It was meant to be the warmest day of the week here and it was humid as well!!
I went to Helmsley Walled Garden.
Now I left the camera in the car but also my binoculars and I found tree sparrows!!! I haven't seen one in years but on the edge of a small market town here they were.
Now I went to Rievaulx and couldn't get parked!! Well I would of if people good flipping park. I thought about going to Byland but I was hot and thought nah I'll sit under a tree at Nunnington and read.
This peacock was very showy.
She wasn't impressed! She's on a nest and comes off screams and one of the NT staff feed her 🤣
