Beningborough Hall

I wandered to Beningborough Hall. The gardens are pleasant but the hall is sparsely furnished and alas no art exhibition untill the autumn.

They have extended the wilderness garden and put in a new garden aimed at coping with the changing climate which is attractive.

There were a few painted lady butterflies and a tiger moth.

Naturally I spent the rest of the time reading a book under a tree. National Trust I like you are creating climate sensitive gardens any chance of more chairs in the shade? Most were empty in this heat,

I agree that it is good that the NT are creating climate sensitive gardens. I like the carved wooden owl and squirrel. Have a good day today wherever you go.
