I had a plan for today but decided to leave until tomorrow.
So off to the west coast.
This makes me smile. You have a Napoleonic gun emplacement next to a 5000 year old Neolithic burial tomb and both are almost in someone's back garden!
I then drove to Fort Hommet and walked up to Grand Rocques and back supporting local businesses with drinks and food.
I had never noticed these fortifications before.

I then drove to Torteval had a coffee and did another wander. There were lots of Painted Lady butterflies.
