It was a rather blustery day. Thanks to someone on Twitter I had my best coffee of the week.
The Liberation monument. Liberation day May 9th is huge. Understandably.
So the towns parish church.
The Herm ferry comes into view.
Castle Cornet has medieval foundations by an explosion in the 17th century destroyed its keep. There are museums to the military associated with the island.
So I was too early for my bus so walked back. That's a steep hill!!
I maintain I earned this!!
