Sorry no more pics of Bergamo. We returned Sunday and though I visited the Cathedral museum before flying back (which was interesting) there were no pictures allowed.
On late Saturday I got an alert from Ryanair to say that there was a possibility of thunderstorms that might delay my flight (I awoke to brilliant sun shine!). Then the hotel said that an event might affect my transfer to the airport! It didn't. Then I read about failures at Stansted with flights cancelled and delayed!
As it was everything was a smooth as silk!
This foal was born just before I took this photo the Monday before I went to Bergamo.
Here it is a week later!!
I am happy to report the ducklings are doing well!
One of 14 Lesser Blacked Gulls at New Hall! A record I think.
It's a hard life being a foal.
The other foal is doing well.
There are now 2 families of Goslings. This lot are on a different pond and if I'm honest I don't think they will make it. The pond gets a lot of fishing.
The New Hall Goslings are doing well!!
I've also seen lots of Moorhens and some cootlets
