I hadn't been to Thaxted for ages and despite the weather I headed off.
For the first time ever the long stay car park was full! So I had to park in the short stay and got the last proper space. It was also free and gave me 4 hours which was plenty.

The rain started to set in and the only cafe is closed for personal reasons for the foreseeable future, No idea how long it has been closed. Sorry about the weather but its a gorgeous town and lovely photos. The church looks really interesting with super stained glass. I quite like the star shaped candelabra too.
