Ickworth

I was in one of those "I want to do something different but I don't know what moods" this morning so what did I do? Went to Ickworth!

Hello!! A Painted Lady!

I've never mentioned that this is known as the Parson's pond (it is where the old Parsonage used to be). It and the church as all that is left of the old Ickworth Village.

The walled garden is being restored and wild flowers used to restore the soil after previous use as a vineyard. It was looking lovely today.

A very pleasant visit!
