Some Good wildlife news for a change

A bit of good news on the Wildlife front.

Volunteers at Devon Wildlife Trust have been the first to witness the return of the Southern Damselfly at Venn Ottery Nature Reserve following the successful re-introduction of 500 adults in 2009.

and

A pair of Black-Tailed Godwit have successfully bred a brood of 3 chicks at the WWT's Welney reserve, it's the first time in a number of years that Godwits have bred there.

This is great news indeed... !!

And I heard Sparrows around the garden - first time for months and month, so a very welcome sound! :D
