Well the weather may have cooled but it is still lovely. Barney was about last night and this morning I saw a Corn Bunting!!
So we headed out and went to Bourton-on-the-Water. Bourton styles itself as the Venice of the Cotswolds with the river running through it. It has certainly thrown itself to tourism with every other shop either a gift shop or a cafe. That said when you get there on a sunny day with few tourists it is attractive.
Just down the road is the small village of Lower Slaughter which is pretty and has none of the tourist tat. Of course if you want something to eat it is a touch pricey!
And todays historic House is Charles Paget Wade's Snowshill. If ever OC makes it to the UK I'll take her there, I'm sure she'd love it, Wade lived in an outbulidng and packed the house full of his collection. Mad? Oh yes, but fascinating, Wade was a true British eccentric.
Another lovely day.

That's brilliant, you've gotta love 'im for that.
I'm chuffed today, as now have broadband, so for the first time can download all your photos straight off, without having to go off and make a cup of tea while the computer struggles with the megabytes.
Have a great time out there on the wolds.
thanks folks.
