The English Seaside in December

I took my friend Jan to see her first ballet a screening at Saffron yesterday and dropped her home today. We went for a walk along the front at Walton on the Naze. I have memories of going to Walton as a nipper and crabbing from the end of the pier. Today we couldn't get on to the pier.

It was very quiet today! I did see a Sanderling!
