One thing I have noticed are the numbers of Canada Geese. As I've said before there are 33 about. On Wednesday there was 1 lone bird, the next day 26 and today 33 again. I'm interested if these are a number of different family groups combined. So why was the one bird there on its own?
The winter thrushes are un the country but yet to get into town. There are very few Goldfinches about. This is surprising as there were lots!
There are lots of ponies on the common and still a few of the foals.
