Cotehele

My friends Rebecca & Stuart are on holiday in Cornwall so we met up today at Cotehele.

Cotehele is a National Trust on the Cornish border. It is noted as one of the least altered tudor houses in the country this is because  the Edgcumbe family used it as a second property. Incidently Cotehele was the first property to be accepted by the treasury in lieu of death duties.

I particularly like Cotehele's garden.

This was in the Orchard

We walked through the garden to the quay

The cheese scone tea.... I will say the scone was disappointing :( cheese was nice and I like the idea!

Anyone thinking I'm mad should meet Rebecca and Stuart!

Whilst Rebecca and Stuart went into the house I went for a wander in the garden again.

Another lovely day with friends!
