Well I am in the Cotswolds for a week.
As ever I left early and was waiting for Baddesley to open. I chose Baddesley because the restaurant and gardens opened at 9am! So I headed in and no I didn't have a scone! I had a tasty Sausage Bap!
So into the gardens....
The vegetable garden has a collection of figures of Henry VIII and his wives!
Obviously Quacks approves of a place where his family are at home :)
Baddesley was probably establish in the thirteenth century. In 1517 the house came in to the Ferrers family who held it until 1940. The Ferrers were Roman Catholic recusants and there are a number of priest holes.
lunch.
Just down the road from Baddesley is another NT property..... and that is to follow!

It was sunny here!!Not that far away either!Look forward to Packwood pics.
Noticing you managed to get indoor shots that my camera wouldn't cope with!! :( Just wondered what camera you used today for the interior shots??
Shame about the lack of sun...but looking good nonetheless. Like Henry and his wives... The Chaffinch pic is a goody!...
RR I use M4/3 cameras which have the same size sensor as your olympus. all the outdoor ones were with a Panasonic GX8 and a 14-140mm lens. the indoor ones were with a Panasonic GM5 and a 15mm f1.7 prime lens it's the f1.7 bit that helps :D
