So I left dads and what to do? It had stopped raining and I was in two minds but as I haven't been to Rye Meads in MONTHS I thought I ought to go.
LOTS of young birds.... Mallards, Coots. Tufties, Pochards. Gadwall, Swans, Moorhens, Black Headed Gulls and Common Terns! All lovely to see, Other birds seen Kestrel, 3 Oystercatcher, 2 Green Sandpipers, Little Ringed Plover, Lapwing, Blackcap, Reed Bunting, Cetti's Warbler, Reed Warbler and many usuals.
And then the sun came out!!!
