I've had 4 fabulous nights at the Red Lion in Long Compton (very good food). We didn't rush off as we had to pick up some essential supplies
The cheese is Vacherin and St Eadburgha (we had that for dinner last night!) purchased from the Cotswolds Cheese Company. Oh yes the wine... :) all New Zealand.
We were recommended a farmshop nearby Daylesford Organic Farmshop which was excellent but we never purchased anything (next time!!)
We stopped at Hughenden Manor (former home of Benjamin Disraeli) as it was on the way home.
Lunch .... not bad.....
We've been around the house before so just strolled around the garden.
It has been a really good few days break and it is a part of the country I really like so I will be back!
