Spello

The hotel was a minutes walk from the main bus station and got a bus to the Railway Station , yes not content with buses I was getting a train! 

Today we went to the hill town of Spello and yes the train was easy.

Santa Maria Maggiore lovely church which again doesn't allow photos.

We got to the top of the hill where the nunnery of the Poor Clare's sits. The nuns were outside and invited us into their church (and yes the pic doesn't do it justice (as Trish would say I NEED a wider lens LOL)

The nuns were happy for us to take pictures without flash (and we both left an offering as thanks)

The nuns were lovely and one offered to pray for us!

There seemd to be a feeding area for stray cats.

We bought a slice of pizza enjoyed the sun and headed back to Perugia

Now about that lens.... kidding!
