Look out of window....
grey, wet and it looks cold! It would be sssoooo easy to pick up a book, listen to music etc BUT its a weekend and I'm going out for a few hours.
Irritatingly when I did head out a hint of blue sky appeared. I say irritatingly because it tempted me down Rye Meads when the sun promptly disappeared.
When I arrived a Fieldfare flew through and as I strolled to the first hide I saw a Stoat but bird wise it was quiet - with the exception of the Great Tits who were in good voice.
Oh I flushed a Snipe, well flushed is a bit harsh it flew out of a ditch by the path!
I don't know about you but I dislike this time of the year. There are butterflies, bees and dragons, no flowers and everywhere is closed! Roll on a few weeks when the Snowdrops will be out! I feel a visit to Anglesey Abbey coming on.

Know what you mean about the time of year.. and goes on for far too long!!
Still however brief, it was a break and great to see a Stoat :)
Beautiful shots of the Canada Geese. I feel the same about this time of year and as Tricia says, it goes on for far too long.
Totally agree with you about this time of the year, Pete. Although its actually sunny here today with clear blue skies (for a change!).
I love the final photo of the Canada Goose and the photo of the tree stump.
