Saturday - and here we are

Last night as the rain lashed down I half wondered if we might need a canoe to get here! As it was when we woke the rain had stopped and it was a pleasant drive down.

We found where we were staying and went into Totnes. Totnes is an old town and it has retained a certain character, it feels like a town from the 1950’s.

It has a fine parish church which I ticked many years ago.



We then went to Dartington Hall Gardens for a walk dipping in and out of the rain. My Dad got to use his most important possession ;)














We’re now in the cottage which is comfortable and clean which is all I ask really and so until tomorrow.
