I note that Assembly Members in Wales have voted for a partial cull of badgers to try and eradicate bovine TB.
Thos story about poisoned birds doesn't exactly cheer me up.
And the Royal Mail touted its green credentials with a set of stamps featuring endangered insects. A pity for the Mail that announced its intention to go to the Court of Appeal to challenge the development of a depot and lorry park for Royal Mail on marshland in Essex.
If you want to read more about this development I wrote about it here.
Not cheerful reading eh.

I won't click on your links because I get too upset, but I will say it's beyond me why people like these - http://www.secretworld.org/data/bluebell.htm bother and try their guts out to save orphan badgers and other wildlife, when the likes of farmers and governments just want to kill everything. May as well just leave everything to die eh?
It's really upsetting to hear of any wildlife being killed. Especially as, in my understanding, there is no proven scientific evidence that Badgers carry TB to bovines!
Me too...I just can't cope with it...
