Wimpole

Well we've finally had some rain! Not enough but we've had some :)

I went to Wimpole today. For the benefit of cousin the usual complaints apply ;) Please roll on September LOL

Warm but not boiling hot! 

Whilst walking around the walled garden I saw a young girl with her grand parent. The girl had a plastic bag and was picking plums. The gran said "don't pick them off the tree, pick them off the ground they won't mind about them" Uh really? Maybe they won't but you might think to ask?

Paycocke's

Last week was flipping hot! It was nice though as I got to spend a couple of days with my friend Jan, given the heat we spent the time nattering and listening to lots of music. Oh we had two nice meals finding a new pub to add to the list! 

Today it was cooler so I went for my walk at a more normal time of day and then decided I'd go to Paycocke's for a scone and a coffee. I got my coffee walked into the garden and ... it rained!! LOL well we need it

Finchingfield

I was having lunch with my cousins Kay and Diane in Finchingfield today. So I took it as opportunity to do some shopping (Wine ;) ) and for a wander around the village. I haven't been for ages apparently!!

Oh and I was up at STUPID o'clock to get my steps in first LOLOL
