Yes I know I was here last year but I like the place but there were cheap flights and I found a good deal on a hotel. This was a real departure for me I just had one under the seat cabin bag!! Ryanair was on form charging a few priority passengers (to be their bags didn't fit) but my underseat backpack was ignored by the sharp eyed vstaff (I had measured the thing 😂)
I arrived in Pisa airport and found my way to the main train station then to the platform and soon I was walking to my hotel. I was a little early but my room was ready and off I went to find a light lunch. Oh it was light.

The forecast doesn't look amazing but a good first day. I was will pop in to some churches Tuesday probably.
