I decided yesterday I'd go to Saffron Walden and Audley End this morning.
I got up and drove to Birchanger services fo4 breakfast came out put the key in the car and...,nothing. So I filled in the link for the AA. At 9:09 I got a tracking link telling me they'd arrive at 10:05 when I checked again it was 10:10....at 9:33 I got a call asking where I was as he was just arriving. It seems I got lucky as his previous job was there.
The diagnostics said my battery had 94% charge but 1% health! He could get me enough juice to get me back but did I want a quote. When he checked he had one on the van. I knew it would be more expensive but not worth the hassle so said go ahead. At 9:54 it was fitted and paid and I was on my way. Excellent service!
I ditched Saffron and went straight to Audley.
So after a rubbish start a good day. Everywhere was rather dry.

Sorry to hear about the car but I am glad it was fixed so quickly :) Audley End is looking lovely and I do like the sunflowers :) You are certainly seeing a lot of Jersey Tigers! It seems a good year for Painted Ladies and Hummingbird Hawkmoths.
