Well I'm back in the Cotswolds. As ever on a Monday morning the M25 was pants and Google turned me off before I reached the M40.
I headed to Hidcote a lovely garden designed by American Lawrence Johnson. The weather was uh damp!!
As you can see the sun started to appear.
I was joined by a cheeky little dinner companion.
I had intended to head to Chastleton but I saw it was closed BUT hadn't realised that Kiftsgate which is Hidcote's neighbour was open so I went there.
Kiftsgate was designed by Heather Muir a friend of Johnson's.

Both are such lovely gardens. I've only been to Hidcote twice but it must be one of my favourites. Never been to Kiftsgate - one day....... Hope the weather remains dry and you have a lovely holiday.
